If you get caught by the owner of the stall or the guard saw you doing something on someone’s stall, you will get attacked and be stunned for a few seconds. Once you have successfully stolen the item from the stall, you can then stack the items on the bank and sell them later for RS gold. It is suggested to steal on the side of the stall.

There is another way to make more RS gold, by pick pocketing the Master Farmer. It is recommended to have level 38 Thieving Skill before doing this. You will gain random seeds after you pick pocket him. By repeating the process of stealing and selling the seeds, you might gain 1m RS gold per hour.
